How many fans does it take ......

The new goalposts are designed to fold down quickly to avoid being broken to the ground. Word I got is they were out practicing lowering them this week in preparation for the game.

I will be at the game , not sure about tearing down the goal post. Last time I ran onto the field was in 76 when we upset the Miami Redskins who were ranked #20 at the time.

There’s no chance they’re going to allow fans onto the field.

I’d expect a heavy police presence to help prevent it.

They aren’t going to allow any players or staff members to be exposed considering our bowl game is likely within the next 10 days.

Is beating a 5-3 UAB team now worthy of tearing down a goal post? This same 5-3 team dropped football only a few years back.

Maybe it is, since UAB was good enough to defeat a 2-3 Rice squad last weekend.

Should they tear them down if they beat us? They’ve won as many divisions since they dropped football as we have in 11 years.

If you tear down a goal post be sure to wear your mask. The CDC says Covid can stay on a goal post for anywhere from 3 seconds to 300 years, give or take.

Similar to the police presence in the end zone at the 2010 WVU game?
