WASHINGTON — In the days after the 2016 presidential election, Donald J. Trump’s advisers had an unequivocal message about contacts between Russians and members of the campaign team: There were none.

In the ensuing months, as numerous such communications were revealed, the message changed: There was no collusion with Russia’s effort to disrupt the election.

On Monday, President Trump’s lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani consistently presented a third line of defense: Even if Mr. Trump did collude with the Russians, he committed no crime.

The collusion isn't s crime is something you leftist have been told for months, you have just chose not to hear and understand it.

Here's the thing, in order to prove some high level of election sabotage and the treason word you guys like to throw around, first it would have had to have actually happened, then you would have to have some extremely hard evidence of Trump's direct involvement with it. Even if it did happen, which it didn't, there is no way there would be any evidence that rises to the level necessary to charge a sitting president with a crime.

This reminds me when Paul Patton was elected governor in KY. His campaign was illegally running buses into the west end of Louisville and feeding and liquoring up people to get on the bus. They then drove them to the polls to vote and took them back home. It was a very close election and this illegal activity was the difference in the outcome. The story came out in the Louisville papers and three Patton staffers went to jail because it was 100% true. What didn't happen? Patton, the man who became governor using illegal tactics, finished his term because he could simply say "I didn't know about it" and there was no real way to prove he did.

Even if it did happen and any reasonable person would believe Trump did, or should have, known, unless you have him sitting in a room with Putin and a bunch of Russian hackers with audio tape of him instructing them what to type and copies of checks from his campaign, signed by Trump, to the Russian government, ain't nothing going to happen to him.

He's your President at least until January 2021. You need to learn to live with that.

BTW, no respecting the results of an election is a serious threat to out democracy. At least that's what some woman said once in a televised debate.
