As of today, I'm the proud owner of a 2 lbs. Yorkie/Chihuahua mix and a 160+ lbs. Old English Sheepdog.

This place has turned into a zoo -- I'm still looking for the giraffe and hippo that I KNOW these people have snuck in on me.

Never underestimate females when it comes to bringing animals home. That being said, I'd try to bargain with them to trade the hippo for a manatee - an aquatic mammal with a much better disposition.

Considering the mesa we live on, if a manatee is in the offing, we're going to need a pool (the Mud River is WAY too far away).

Makes me glad there are no animals, people or anything else that makes loud noises in my quiet little mausoleum sanctuary I get to go to at 5:00.

I'm a pet hater at this point. Used to like dogs that stayed outside. Now, to hell with all of them. They're too dumb. Jump all over you, get you stinking and dirty. Hell, if I wanted to do that I would have done "real work" as the old man used to say.
