If our coaches are not yet looking they need to look at Montez Crowe at Troup High School in LaGrange Georgia. He just threw 8 touchdown passes in one game in his amazing this season

You can't overlook talent like this kid
We're done recruiting QBs for a bit. Locksley in '18 and Underwood in '19.
Underwood will never see the field at Marshall, as in if he even plays FBS football it won't be in Huntington..
With the attrition that Doc's teams always have, he should really try to bring in at least two kids a year that can pass the ball.
I didn't say two quarterbacks, now did I?
Get a quarterback, and try for one athlete.
Locksley not a lock, flip flops allot like Rodriquez in terms of decision making. I say we stay home and look at the kid from Wheeling Park.
God forbid you go after in state kids.
Who was the last in state QB? Serious question, not trying to be a pain.
Sold. Kid is a pretty good runner, and has a nice over the top delivery motion. Not buying the 6'1", but there are these guys, Wilson & Brees, getting paid to play the game that aren't even 6'.If things fall through with Underwood a WV name to keep an eye on is Grant Wells.

My guess would be Zban, but I won't swear to it.Who was the last in state QB? Serious question, not trying to be a pain.
I think he may be the only one. I can't remember us ever having any WV recruits that were scholarship recruits at the QB position. I'm sure we did going back to the 70s and 80s, but not from the 90s forward except for Zban.My guess would be Zban, but I won't swear to it.
He wont play QB at the next levelMarshall has the best high school QB in WV coming next year. Only he has a basketball scholarship.
dangerousdan the kid you are referring to has only “verbally committed” to DD. FAU has offered football scholarship along with some others. Someone else on here posted that this kid won’t play QB at the next level. Maybe not at Marshall but perhaps someplace else. Kid loves football.
If he isn't good enough to play QB at MU, what makes him good enough to play the position at another FBS school? There is also no way in hell he can play QB in Kiffen's system when you compare the complexity of it to Legg's offense.dangerousdan the kid you are referring to has only “verbally committed” to DD. Chris see Williamson Daily News (7/11/17) FAU offered according to the article. James Madison and Morehead have offered. At FAU there is a Mingo County connection in there offensive line coach - Garin Justice from Gilbert. I’m just quoting from the article. Perhaps he will not be interested in playing football but if you have seen thus kid he’s pretty darn good regardless of competition. Remember he had only verbally committed to us for basketball- not on the dotted line just yet OR did I miss his signing?
