Is this because Bernie didn't send back the $2 donation you sent him? You thought he was serious about liking being "poor"?
I told you a long time ago, all those donations go into an account....unspent $$$ later transferred to a trust for him to enjoy the rest of his days in sunny West Palm Beach.

If it's any consolation, Fever, they're all pretty much the same so it's not like you picked the wrong party. I honestly believe that most politicians set out with the best of intentions. They believe they have great ideas, can help make a difference, will be loyal to their core beliefs and represent the people that put them in office with integrity.
Then Washington happens. You start compromising your values on some things because you think it helps you achieve the greater good. You'll go along with this guy because he can help you get your thing done. You help this other guy because he can get you on the committee where you know you can make that difference. You help this lobbyist because they will back you for re-election, and you need that because you still have so much more to do.
Before you realize it, you don't even remember what your core beliefs were, but you really like the power you have on that committee, you really like the perks, you like being on CNN, MSNBC, or Fox all the time. You love being on the inside. Once you get there, you'll do anything to stay. Power corrupts.
With that said, Hillary is not like most politicians. She never had good intentions. Maybe she did when Bill was running for Governor back in the day, but she got power hungry before she ever ran for an office. When she ran for Senator in NY, instead of her home state, it wasn't to help the people of NY it was because it was a better launching pad to run for President.

Please stop talking. Bernie is the total opposite. He is still fighting the good fight for the people. And you need money to run for President. I'm talking about those politicians who only care about themselves and their buddies. The level of corruption in Washington is at an All-time high.
