I give Legg credit

What a joke this staff is. Imagine if we had tried ANYTHING with a minute on the clock and three time outs before the half .

That end of game sequence would have been so different had we maybe got three on board before half .

Don't give Legg credit for anything even as a joke. His atrocious game plan in the first half and docs deer in headlights conservative punting when needing a half of yard twice inside Pitt territory killed us this game. If we had done anything offensively in the first half we could have won this game. You can't spot a team like Pitt a 27-0 lead on their field and expect to win.

We are 1-3 as we stumble into our Southern Conference errrr CUSA schedule. I'll be at all our home games and I still think because of how bad our conference is we can win it, but honestly the second half doesn't absolve the stench of the Akron, Louisville or the first half of this game.

It's almost as if we are behind the times offensively. In today's game you have to go for it on 4th and 1/2 a yard. You have to allow your offense to get moving. Have you guys noticed that on the first series of every play, Legg always throws a streak to Clark or McManus? There is no men in motion, no reverses, sharp slants. No, I'm not a offensive coordinator, but you have to keep up with the times and Coach Legg's less than innovative approach makes this offense and thier weapons look...well not good.

I think the entire season minus the 1st game against the high school team we looked unprepared. A lot of coaching issues.

and Doc shows no evidense he has any balls. Punting from his 37 with inches for a first down. We might have won that game but I forgot this staff plays not to lose. Boy fans are getting screwed by this staff

I like doc .. but legg is a chicken pus and refuses to stretch the field and at some point you have to be creative shotgun then a handoff 5.6.7 yards deep doesn't work when your line can not hold a block.. bring back tony Petersen

I agree and it is frustrating as anything. Legg's offensive game plans are horrible. We are so predictable and I don't recall the last time we put a guy in motion. With that said, I don't think we're world beaters on defense either. I think we'd have a hard time stopping Midland. Our front 7 is s-o-f-t.

This is what I was afraid was going to happen following Catos exit. This is the same "scheme" we ran with Cato. The difference? When the oline play sucked, when the run game was non existent, the ability to play sandlot pick up style offense existed when it broke down. Some fans misinterpreted that record setting offense with "play calling" and offensive genius. All it was was jail break offense that was unpredictable to defend.

Thank God we had Cato to make that work during those years. Otherwise we would be looking at Snyder 2 W&L records. Based on what I am seeing, it appears it may once again be on the horizon. I really would like to think I am wrong.
