If anyone knows Signal you know too it often automatically pulls in your contact from your phone and when contacts download Signal they are often "auto-added" to your Signal contact list if you set it up to default to that.

At least he is admitting it was his screw-up and not a staffer. He corrected Trump on that. Shows character.
If they would’ve taken an ounce of accountability from the beginning and not constantly downplayed it and tried attacking the journalist this would be much less of a thing.
I think I mostly agree with this. I do think it was sensationalized a bit but with a lot of things, if you F up just own it and people will often forgive you.

The reporter played this all wrong in his rush for a gotcha. He shouldn’t have rushed to release this golden ticket that fell in his lap. He could have leveraged it into important interviews and other advantages that would have made him a much more meaningful journalist.
