Black Cleopatra is one of the dumbest history conspiracy theories/misunderstandings/whatever I know. I don’t think it has anything to do with “woke” but y’all keep changing the definition of that so who knows.

And at any rate they would not have had any concept of black and white. A Roman wouldn’t have considered themselves any more like a German than a Nubian. That’s a much more modern invention.
