..in that gym thinks this is a scrimmage!! You ‘re seeing the star of the future in Kinsey!! Double double for the super-frosh!!!!!
Surely we didn’t burn any redshirts at the end there did we?
A lot of hero’s tonite. M Byers played well. Iran has big potential. West just goes down & gets it. Williams & George will be big performers next year...great time to jump on the bandwagon!!
Dillon and Brooks-Harris are the only red shirts. They did NOT dress all season long.Surely we didn’t burn any redshirts at the end there did we?
of course we have Dajour signed and on board. I saw him play a game when we played at ODU in January. Real blue collar kid. He will be fine here.Looking forward: Kinsey needs work in the weight room, and gain at most (imo) 10 more pounds. Anything more limits his verticalness (?).
Same for Brooks Harris. He prob needs 15-20 lbs of muscle. Inch taller than Taevion.
Bennett should be able to get down another 15 lbs, giving him more mobility and more minutes.
Dillon looks pretty well sized to me.
Who has scoop on some of the recruits?
We have a 7 footer that looks to be coming in. When you watch him run the floor he runs like a 6-5 guy. Very athletic and plays around the basket shooting equally as well with either hand from what I have seen. I will not mention him by name because a recruiting battle still is in process.

Of course we see Taylor everyday. He comes in as the 2nd highest scorer in Kentucky HS history. He is penciled in to start at the PG spot
We have a commitment from Sarenac. At 6-7 and able to play virtually anywhere but the 5. Look at the video of his ball handling skills and his passing. Very impressive. All that and he averaged over 20 ppg in prep school.

My final thoughts on this Championship night:
Trivia ? Name the last time a Marshall U. men’s basketball team cut down the nets on their home floor?
Answer: Possibly MMI, but I don’t think they would’ve..Duke will remember!!
Also - just like last season, you never know who’s watching. Mike Byers came to Huntington from watching us in the Dance...these type of positive events can produce dividends you wouldn’t think probable...kudos to (tonite) our cousin DD for making the team that got it done! Go Herd...
If Duke sez it, I’m a believer!! Go Herd!!My only guess would be never. Maybe if it was a first place conference finish.

The coaching staff would rather not allow our competitors know we are on him. His name, is however, all over the pay side of Herd FansIf you weren’t a member of the coaching staffD)you could mention his name and discuss everything about the guy.
This is the game guy I referenced on our pay site.
I'm not overly excited about him based off what I've been told. Seems like Coach Rigot is doubling down in hopes of locking down Sarenac.
From Keith Morehouse (Twitter) :
Green Bay coach Linc Darner said he doesn’t see crowds like that in his league
Said they haven’t played in an atmosphere like that since Creighton and Michigan State
The only schools with the type of attendance is ODU and WKU. UTEP was when they had decent teams. With the team they have coming in, I expect to see the numbers back up there as early as next year. As you remember, when they were competitive that averaged over 9,000 per game in El PasoJust a good reminder of how special what we have at Marshall is.
Even in C-USA, we are way above the pack in BBall support.
check out his video from this year. I believe yo will all be impressedSo, Josh, are you saying that we are looking at another Sustic? Dozic? Koljanin? Dredging the bottom of the Eastern European barrel looking for another Penava is getting a little old, IMO.
Danny has said all along that if you start and keep winning, it opens a lot of things.
It will allow us to compete for the 4-5 star players. It will get us games with P5 teams.
It will sell tickets and so on....
He has said that until that happens, we have to get the 2-3 star kids and develop them like he has been doing. It is good that he is a great evaluator and developer of talent
The last time we finished with a win was in the 1947 NAIA Chanpionship. My only guess would be never. Maybe if it was a first place conference finish.
I'm not going to start an argument on the football program, but this is a ridiculously stupid comment.Developer of talent unlike the head football coach
Yep, they were the only school that could rival Memphis with support, of course we were a multiple bid conference half the time then too. Need them back up to par, along with UAB, WKU, ODU (to continue it), any of the schools that were known in the past to be decent/good with good support. We get that and we start rivaling the A10 (maybe) in power. Lots of "ifs".The only schools with the type of attendance is ODU and WKU. UTEP was when they had decent teams. uhhh, hey George: name a mid-major HC that has NEVER guessed wrong on a recruit? You can't foresee injuries, and you just don't know how a kid is going to turn out for so many reasons...Great evaluator of talent?
