Egg Prices are going down. Good job, Foghorn. He made a bunch of new chickens. Hence more eggs.

New data suggests that soaring egg prices, which became a flashpoint issue during last year's presidential election, may finally be falling.
Figures released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture show that the average cost of one dozen eggs is now significantly cheaper than in recent days. The economic indicator website Trading Economics shows that a dozen eggs were $5.51 on Tuesday, more than $2 cheaper than "an all-time high of 8.17 in March of 2025."

It is March of 2025. What is the invisible article saying that eggs are cheaper than they were ten days ago? I have paid around 5.75 per dozen for months now, including just yesterday.

Not sure I understand all the whining about egg prices. Even at their highest prices, you could still have fried eggs for breakfast for under $2. Since I eat breakfast out and I have never bought an egg, I worry about other things.

There might be a trend of egg prices going down.
