If Grant Wells is unable to play and Zban gets hurt who then takes over at quarterback?

I don't think so. This is from a 2018 ESPN article touching on that somewhat. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/24803587/college-football-redshirt-rule-faq

Are there any negatives to the new rule?

SEC coach: "I think there are some things that will come from this, but I do think there's going to be an influx of transfers. You play a kid two games and then you pull him back; he goes through the whole year and he does everything you ask. You get to the bowl game and you're going to play that kid because you're anticipating he's going to contribute next year. So you're going to play that kid in the bowl game because it doesn't trigger his redshirt. There's going to be somebody on the team that says if you're already playing him in the bowl game ahead of me, I'm probably not going to play next year. So that's going to create some transfers or movement."

With all the other QBs that Huff has signed why hasn’t he played this young man if his skills are said to be better than Zban?

Zban’s performance hopefully only helped in recruiting or possibly a transfer from somewhere..

If he does play I hope they build a playbook around him and the Olinemen actually show up....

I think there's a coaches show tonight. call in and ask the question. Not being a smarta$$, it is a good question.
While he's at it he should ask Coach Huff why we didn't allow Zban an opportunity to throw against North Texas and Charlotte when he played the entirety of both 4th quarters.

Could easily be a repeat of WKU. I thought we would finish the year at 9-4 so 7-6 would be, in my opinion, a horrible season.
