Discusses the timing of Marshall's days in the MAC, where we were looking to move up in terms of football and UCF's entry into the MAC.

Makes you wonder what could have been with our football program had we continued with hiring the right head coaches and not sticking with and accepting Perkin's favorite thing - mediocrity.
Its about money. UCF has Disney and other large businesses in the area. Also, it's about the number of cable boxes in Orlando. Interesting read.

But, but, but . . . it's pretty evident that Huntington has cornered the fast foot market, at least, with Fat Patty's and Hillbilly Hotdogs!!

Just read that one large company is no longer requiring a college degree for possible employment. When you think about it, most college degrees are worthless. You could learn just as much spending a few nights a week reading in a library.

Considering the cost, the era of the college experience may have reached its height.

You sound like me. Covid exposed a lot of it. Plus, the nation is riddled with debt from it.

Liberty: That includes its vast "on-line" deal. The actual number of students on campus is less than 16,000.

UCF: Florida has almost a dozen, very large, public universities, all great. And if you can get into on, you can get into any. Kids that want to be a part of the a college sports environment choose UF or FSU. Kids that have other priorities or passions choose one of the others. And kids that don't like sports grow up to be adults that don't like sports. UCF is insignificant in the sports world. Always has been, always will be.

Rifle is a lot like Socrates. Sits around in his jumper imparting wisdom to his eager disciples.

Don’t they also have the largest on campus student body in the country?

Mostly female too and a very skewed ratio at that.

We have fat chicks and buffets. At least we did. COVID destroyed the buffets AND the fat chicks. The buffets are gone and the fat chicks all have myocarditis. We still got that Gino's Pizza NIL money though.

That's entirely false. There are plenty of kids who go to North Florida or FAU because they weren't able to get into Miami or Florida. Miami and Florida both have pretty tough admissions standards and are far above the other large schools in Florida.

FIU has two large campuses in the Miami area. They attract a lot of Foreign students, including from Central and South America, as well as from the Caribbean. They do have a pretty highly rated International business program and I think that their Law School has a pretty decent reputation. As long as Florida's population increases, I'm sure that the enrollments at many/most Higher ED institutions in that State, public and private, will do the same.

It's also false that Miami is public, which was specifically the subject--public universities

The point, which your limited reading comprehension prohibited you from understanding, is that kids who go to FAU/North Florida/etc. are often rejected from their first choice, including some that are public. Samantha's comment, like your reading ability, is flawed.

You replied to a comment specifically about public universities in Florida, claim it's entirely false while including a private university in your rebuttal. Talk about flawed, try and clue in just a little bit and stick to the subject before shooting off at the mouth.

Stalker, the point was to show Samantha that kids who go to the easier admissions public schools in Florida routinely have been rejected from other Florida schools, both public and private.

Stalker? Grow up. I didn't even realize I responded to you when I saw Miami mentioned in response like it was Public. I then saw it was you and chuckled and expected the exact response you gave. Pathetic and predictable.

And please no name calling on this forum. We have rules here.

UCF is basically a large community college
