Interesting gun/murder rate chart.

It doesn’t say the year they pulled this from, but the US was at 6.5 for 2020. But it was under 5 for a longish stretch of time so I wouldn’t quite say the chart is misleading, just potentially outdated.

I have one gun other than a BB gun and a pellet pistol. The gun is harmless, but I do have it on my list to buy some shells to make it more lethal.
Well it was actually higher in 2020 than previous years, which makes sense as economic instability tends to track with homicide rates. You’d think (or many not, aren’t the vast majority of homicides between people who know each other anyway?) people not being out and about would have dampened it more but it doesn’t seem to have.
Most of the killings are in the hoods, so I'm not sure what those people were doing in 2020. White people usually only kill when their old lady is screwing somebody else.
