I just came across this stat comparison on twitter, and found it pretty interesting.

The only thing is, I believe these stats are a little misleading.. We lead wire to wire against Miami Ohio and jumped all over them it was 28-0 at half.. Before Doc and co pulled back the reigns and went extra vanilla.. In this Purdue game we genuinely had to dig deep and gut out a win.. The Boilermakers had us in some real trouble that the Redhawks just never had us in.

Purdue was much better than that Miami team. They were bigger, stronger, faster and more physical. If we had stuck with what we did in the first half in the second half at Miami it would have been something like 56-10. We just came out totally complacent in the second half because we were so dominant in the first half.
