Is anybody paying attention to fall camp this year?

Anybody paying attention to fall camp this year for the football team? I think we should have a good year. I think winning at Boise St will be tough, but beyond that the way the schedule shapes up we have a puncher's chance in every game. Just hope we don't have the typical Doc let down. I see double digit wins.

I am optimistic but, Coach Stowers told me I was too optimistic. I try to pay attention, but with current world events and the sometimes boring nature of the football program recently, it is hard to. I am wondering if Coach Stowers knows something we don't know. Maybe some suspensions or some roster departures. Maybe an injury or guys transferring to the Cabell County Penal League.

We better not do the typical 7-5 shit this year.

Not sure why, but even though I see it as outlined above, I think they win two of the four I listed as likely losses and tossup, so I'm going 10-2 as well.

History tells us they'll shit the bed in some game, but damn, with that schedule, you would think 10 wins is doable.

Not sure about that. Coach Stowers has the inside track down there. He's been around the game for awhile. I said 10 wins also and Coach Stowers told me that was too optimistic. I don't see how with that schedule you go 7-5 even with the typical shit the bed game.

We'll go 4-8. I have no problem with it. I like the new coach. We are headed in the right direction. Had Holgorsen stayed, we were going 3-9. The best QB we had was Jack Allison. With Brown coming in, we landed Austin Kendall and Jarrett Doege (who will most likely have to sit out one year).

Not expecting much this year, although our running game should be solid, as should our defense. Too many new skill players at QB and WR to get into predictions. Long term, Brown has showed the potential to turn his team into a perennial 10-11 game winner, so I’ll cross my fingers I guess.
