How many people can see Trump getting in deep trouble? I mean not everything negative about him is a made up lie. He has never evidently had to pick so many people for very important jobs because he really sucks at it. It doesnt seem to matter. No matter what he does it will snow but geez can he have one day without something embarrassing happening?

right... Trump has reached the point that no matter what he does the majority of his base will be behind him. If/when he screws up he just has to hold a presser and tell a couple of reporters to fvck off and all will be right. The GoP in congress know this. They value their sweet gigs in DC enough to stomach whatever he does for the next 4 years. The real test will be in 2020.

I'm not sure where I ever said that. My stance on spending and taxes is pretty simple: if you want something, you have to pay for it. Deficit spending should only be used during national emergencies. For example, I want better roads and bridges but without tolling; I am willing to pay a higher gas tax. I want our debt paid down, I am willing to pay higher taxes for that.
Tariffs are a little more complicated. We should protect native industry that is critical to our national security and ability to grow. Steel? Fvck Chinese steel. I don't care if my underwear is made in China.
