I watch practice nearly everyday. I, for one, certainly like everything I see. We are working hard at getting faster. We saw with Newberry what a few years in that type of system can do. Many of those guys had been in the system 4 years. Ours has really only been in DD's a few weeks. We were way too slow last year with the players we had for Danny to install what he wanted to run.
The key to DD's style is to NOT let your opponent get the ball down court ahead of you setting up on defense.
Must harass the ball all the way...cut down on uncontested snow birdies and a hand in the face of 3-point shooters.
It's a 60 minute full court game that requires 9 or 10 players going full-blast every second they are on the court.
Rest time can only be found on the court.

Not to discount your scouting report but isn't it everybody's "style" not to let your opponent get the ball down the court ahead of your defense?

I think they'll be fun to watch once they get all the parts in the right places. Elmore and Browning should be a big help in taking some heat off Loop. They both can get the ball in the hoop. Should be fun
