Probably is closer to actual truth. The chart Fever and lib media used is a definition of mass shootings created by a blogger, it doesn't follow the FBI's definition. So far this year, according to the FBI, there have been around 22 mass shootings.
it is and it isn't. the definition of "mass shooting" as it pertains to the FBI is 4 or more in a single incident. the high number you see everywhere is from a private organization (shootingtracker.com) that considers 2 or more a "mass shooting". congress has a research committee that considers 3 or more a "mass shooting".
using the FBI's definition they publish an average of 11 "mass shootings" per year in the US
using the congressional research committee you get an average of 21 per year
the mass shooting tracker cites an average of 360 per year (353 this year)
Obama obviously uses the higher number to spread his agenda....

there are several things included and not included depending on which source is used. i think it was the FBI that does not include gang bangers killing each other. the tracker does. so if you get two gangs dropping each other on a street corner it counts as a "mass shooting".
okay, but the fbi still doesn't define "mass shootings." also, the definition for "active shooter incident" doesn't mention anything about the number of victims required to be considered an active shooter incident as you've tried to claim to fit your argument.

depends on which reporting organization is used. some only count victims that actually die. some do not count domestic disputes at all as long as all victims live in the same household. it is all a giant cluster **** that shouldn't be quoted by anyone, let alone the president....
