According to reports, Mattis' first day resulted in over 31 tactical strikes on ISIS. Mattis is establishing himself rather quickly.


I have the exact same concerns about drone strikes (& what exactly constitutes a terrorist via simple proximity) as I did under Obama. That said, unfortunately war produces casualties. Hopefully the numbers can be kept to a minimum under this administration.
