I wouldn't. I had parents who could afford to help me get an education. Other people do not. And that is where the power structure makes this assault.

I'll maintain my original opinion, which is that 18-22 year old male athletes should have defended themselves. Additionally, in today's environment of political 'got-cha' moments, it will be interesting to see if anything truly even happened at OSU.

But, to answer your point, it's possible it could have gone down that way, but that would only open up the school to a major lawsuit, in which the athletes could have sued the school. I guess it comes down to this. If you're an 18 year old athlete, which do you prefer? Having your pecker yanked around, or blowing the whistle on the yanker? I know which route I would have taken, as the supposed yanker would have only attempted to grab my crotch once.
Convict is an odd choice of words, as I am not aware of any criminal charges here. And the doctor is dead anyway. As for Jordan, the voters can make their own decision...given the outcomes of his races, I don't think Jesus Christ could beat him if running as a Democrat.
