Nothing could be more true.

Progressives have made the Democrat party toxic, for sure. Poor bleaters think they are still voting for true Democrats. The Party of Hate....That's today's Democrats.

Shame he couldn't say that BEFORE the election...

True, he says that, but he also criticizes the other side. He basically says both parties suck and are being ran by small, subsets. Says we need a legit, centrist, third party. He’s right.

Agreed, but we have the best of the two that was offered.

Hmmm... For most of my adult life Democrats ran as "centrists"... In fact wasn't Joe Biden sold to the electorate as a centrist??? Meanwhile he, and many other Democrats, govern from the left once elected...

Disagree.

MAGA is the current third-party. What we have witnessed over the last 8 years has been a political movement that has united disaffected Americans, both Democrats and Republicans.

Meanwhile Manchin sat on the sidelines during the game while both sides railed against MAGA yet now feels qualified to offer his opinion...

Rep. Chip Roy Criticizes House Republican Leadership

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) criticized his own party during a House floor speech, challenging his Republican colleagues to "name one meaningful, significant thing" the GOP majority had done since taking control of the House in January.

That's not the problem. The problem is DC is controlled by special interest and lobby. Look at the size and massive scope of DC. Both sides are a rulling class. The shit we argue about a lot is used as a distraction. Then, the polticiians do shit at the will of their lobbies while we are all not paying attention. It won't matter if you come up with another party as long as they are going to do what the special interests want.

So the toxic Democratic Party is MAGA?

Joe Manchin calls Democratic Party ‘toxic,’ blames progressives

Interesting interpretation by you...
I didn't use the word toxic. I used the word extreme which is the word Manchin used when discussing the small faction of the Republican Party that he sees as controlling things and being too far right.

Uni Party. Deep pockets in military industrial complex, medical industrial complex and educational industrial complex.

What is the natural reaction to when things go too far left? You seem to be overlooking the root cause of the the extreme partisanship we are seeing.

I keep hearing people talk about how far right the Republican Party has gone (has it really?) with nary a mention of how far left the Democrats have gone. That isn't the party of Truman or JFK anymore.

One example - the Democrats embracing transgender men in women's sports. That's not "exteme" but somehow wanting to ban that is?

And the result of the Left's relentless attacks on the Boy Scouts...

My problem with the media, and evidently you, are the ongoing attempts to label 80 million US citizens as "extremists" when the majority of us just want to be left alone and governed with some common sense.

One last example - the status quo that Manchin was a member of would, and still, give us a 1,500 page spending bill. However the "extremists" got that down to 100 pages. Maybe 100 pages is too short, but I'd rather have it too short than a bloated 1,500 page bill. What about you?

You sure seem to jump to a lot of conclusions and make a lot of assumptions based on limited information. You also make a lot of generalizations about large groups of people based on the opinions and actions of a subset. It's almost like you read what you want to read.

In my earlier post, I said that Machnin mentions extremism on both sides. I wholeheartedly agree with him. There are some nutjobs on the left but there are also nutjobs on the right.

The majority of Democrats do not support transgender men in women's sports. That's statistically and categorically false. Yes, there are some that do, but not the majority. I do not support transgender men in sports. I think when we make choices in life, we also make sacrifices based on those choices. I have zero problem with transgender folks but I do believe a man, regardless of chosen sexuality, has an unfair advantage over women. So, if you choose to transition, I support you, but you give up competing in organized sports.

I don't give two sh*ts if a bill is 10 pages or 10,000. I care what's in that bill.

While you want to be left alone, and while MAGA makes that claim, your actions demonstrate differently.

Hmmm... Sounds like I am just projecting your thoughts back to you...

Generalizations??? Isn't that the very definition of identity politics that the liberal arm of the Democrat party has been using to polarize our nation and the political process?

For example all Christians are narrow-minded, all whites are racist and only whites can be racist, business owners are greedy, men are sexist, Republicans are evil... I'm sure I missed some.

Of course there are. But "some" nutjobs on the left??? Can you not somehow grasp what Manchin said? The nutjobs on the left have taken control of the Democrat party - virtually the entire party and its platform. And please list any of the policies promoted by the extreme left of the Democrat party that have had any positive results over the last few decades.

But the mainstream in the Democrat party, not the fringe, made it a national issue...

Its "centrist" current POTUS did so with one of his very first Executive Orders.

But yeah, keep saying the majority of Democrats don't agree with this but it is the cornerstone of several "Democrat" Executive Orders.

Btw aren't Executive Orders the opposite of the "democratic" process?

I don't give two sh*ts if a bill is 10 pages or 10,000. I care what's in that bill.

So which is easier to determine what's in a bill - 10,000 pages or 10? That's a really, really bad example to use to support your position.

While you want to be left alone, and while MAGA makes that claim, your actions demonstrate differently.

So now after making such bad arguments to support your positions you're somehow qualified to judge me???

Left alone - that's a generic figure of speech that you are taking literally. Nice play...

There have been many recent intrusive government mandates including the aforementioned transgender participation rules. How about a time-consuming and unnecessary small business mandate (Beneficial Ownership Interest reporting) that is clogging the federal court system? Stuff like that is likely contained in the 10,000 page "spending" bills you seemingly don't have a problem with...

Dear lord, I think you just reinforced everything I said better than I ever could.
