at what age are you responsible for your actions that define who you are? the argument that liberal icon Byrd changed while still openly exhibiting racist behavior before his death leads perfectly into a current news item being completely ignored by libs that exposes their hypocrisy.
msnbc (the news equivalent of a windchime powered by farts) rabid homophobe Joy Reid, the woman the ny times dubbed "a heroine of the resistance" just two months ago despite being a known hypocrite and homophobe, had even more homophobic writings unearthed this week. being a "heroine" as the times put it, she valiantly stood up and immediately took blame. just kidding, she blamed hackers. and if you understand how WayBack works (among the other cataloging measures in play), you might think, "her explanation doesn't sound very believable." and in doing so, you would be smarter than damn near every one rushing to defend her against those pesky hackers.
after getting called out she had to admit it probably wasn't hackers, but that she doesn't think she wrote it. can you really blame her though? don't get me wrong, she definitely wrote very homophobic things in the past. and by past, i mean in her 40's. she's also still in her 40's. but apparently she wrote so many homophobic things, it's hard for her to keep them all straight.
