For the Anniversary game... Let's make it a true tribute and have our players wear the numbers of those lost and the ones that kept the program alive with their names on the bac of the jerseys. For instance, Colombi would wear #14 and have "Shoebridge" on the back of his jersey. What do you all think? Am I just being dumb or does this have legs? Then Marshall could put all of that up for bid during the golf tournament for Marcelo Lajterman.

MU does enough for the team and the tragedy. The black uniforms, the fountain ceremony, the run to the cemetery, the 75 on the field now.

Per NCAA regulations, I don’t believe this would be permitted.

In 2014, when guys were rotating Evan Mckelvey’s jersey # around, Marshall had to get special permission each week to make that happen.

Since then, I think other regulations have been put in place to negate such.

I believe that is correct. Perhaps a patch with the name and number on it may work though.

I know at least once a few seasons ago, all the names were printed out on a strip that ran down the middle of the helmet. Small, yes, but I really liked that touch.
