It’s not just us. MTSU ran all over Miami last week then were beaten badly by Buffalo today. Crazy football season.

Wait...and isn't Holy Cross where Rudy attended before getting accepted into Notre Dame?

I believe this was everything coming full circle.
No. Bowling Green played the College of the Holy Cross, Rudy attended Holy Cross College.

All that we heard before the game at BG was how hard it was to play/win at their stadium. Anyone wanna guess where Buffalo won the game today??
Yeah but we are BG’s Super Bowl. BG didn’t get all hyped up about playing Buffalo like they did with us.

Duh......Holy Cross is located in Worcester, MA [about 40 miles west of Boston]. "Rudy:cool: would not know how to get there...."

Wow. It’s almost like sports usually change week in and week out across the board. Odd.

I guess everyone sucks and no one is good.

Except for well-coached well-disciplined teams that are prepared and get the job done, every week.

Of course I am a “conditional Herd fan” to you. I expect effort and competency. Of course, I go to McDonald’s a lot. When I order a Big Mac, I expect a Big Mac. If I were ever presented with a scoop full of gray goo, I would complain. I guess to you that makes me a “conditional McDonald’s customer”.

The two best teams right now in the SBC are relatively newbie to FBS Coastal Carolina and a brand new team to FBX James Madison who is not even elible to go to a bowl this year.

That is how far we have sunk.

James Madison is the real deal. They are poised to be a long term conference powerhouse. Coastal Carolina will be good for as long as Chadwell remains there(he’ll be gone soon).

I warned @BleedsGreen33 about James Madison a few weeks back, but he was too busy arguing with Perkins over which shade of green he should wear to his home closing.

While JMU should be favored over us, as we do not play with heart and discipline, we have seen this story 100 times. Some G5 wins 4 or 5 in a row, often due to just the way the schedule is laid out, gets ranked in early October, its fans get all puffy on the internet, and then the cold douche of reality is applied. JMU is hardly the “real deal”.

As Sam points out, who you play/beat does matter... JMU has beaten one team with a pulse thus far -- App State.

MTSU, Arkansas State, Texas State and Norfolk State are the others.

Same thing with Coastal Carolina at 6-0... Gardner Webb, Army, Ga. State, Ga. Southern, Buffalo and Louisiana-Monroe isn't exactly a Murderer's Row schedule. You can make a good argument that Coastal's 5 toughest games this season still remain ahead of them (ODU, Marshall, App, Virginia and JMU).

I've been pointing to JMU as a trap game all year long. @mlblack16. can back me up on that as he told me I was worrying too much.

It's no longer a trap game and figures to be a tough game.

If we don't turn things around on Wednesday night then we'll lose to JMU by at least two TDs and be lucky to win another game the rest of the way out.

I agree....if we don't beat ULL on Wednesday night....we we will most likely lose out or maybe win one more game!

Coastal and JMU are hungry programs full of energy. We are just going throught he motions it seems. JMU is used to winning and wanting to prove something. Same for Coastal.

Something happened after that Notre Dame win and whatever it was is not good.
