Our defense is incredibly good. If we get the lead it will likely stand. We score 2 goals, the game is ours. jmoYou mean 2 WINS?
MU scores 2 goals against UNC and they score 3, then MU is fvcked.

They were pressing hard. We dont sub much so I am sure the guys were getting tired. That said, we didn’t give up a goal, that’s all that mattersThe last 5 mins showed the defense needs to be in better control.
I’m convinced Grassie subbed in those 3-4 players after the goal and just told them “fvck technique, play as physical as you can without fighting”. Those subs were in there PRESSINGThey were pressing hard. We dont sub much so I am sure the guys were getting tired. That said, we didn’t give up a goal, that’s all that matters
Clemson beat them 2-1 and 2-0 this season. https://pittsburghpanthers.com/sports/mens-soccer/schedule/2020-21Pitt has scored 13 goals so far in their 3 matches. If we get past UNC and face Pitt, I don’t believe 1-2 goals will cut it, even with our defense. Two might get it to overtime, but we won’t win in regulation with less than 3.

Well, that certainly is a kerfuffle. Nobody scores a goal but you can still win. But then again, very little about soccer makes any sense to me.According to NCAA rules, in a game that determines the national championship, a tie game in regulation of 0-0 that requires a penalty-kick tiebreaker will continue showing no goals scored. In other words, it will be a 0-0 game with the winner advancing (being determined the winner) via penalty-kicks.
So Marshall is potentially 0 goals away from being a national champion. The same holds true in cases of forfeit.
Pitt Washington score misleading. Pitt got two goals in last two minutes when Washington pushed way forward and goalie was out of box. Not to mention, Clemson goal against us was CLEARLY offside. We held Georgetown (1.86 G/PG) to 0 and Clemson and Fordham (1.75/1.80 G/PG) to 1.
Pitt is on fire offensively, yes. But Grassie has shown that even amongst the best in the nation, he manages to make them play our game and not the other way around.
IF we both met in the championship, I don’t think either team scores more than 2. We gotta get past a redhot UNC team first though obviously.
Agreed, especially Pitts “wondergoal” where the goalie was 20 yards out of the box with 1 minute left lolPitt Washington score misleading. Not going to ignore the fact that Pitt is playing fantastic either, they’re blowing people out and would definitely be our hardest opponent in the tournament next to Georgetown. But, I do not think goals would come easy for them in the slightest and personally think no more than 2 goals both sides would be scored.
And 2 is pushing it considering we held the Massey Rating #2 Offense to 0.
If we make the final, I would personally prefer Pitt. Indiana is a very strong team, like us they rely heavy on possession and letting the game come to them. I think we would hold our own against both, but I think we would do better against Pitt who kind of like Clemson just fires off at the net at any time.If you watch the goals scored by Pitt in their next to last game versus UCF, 3 of the 4 goals were scored due to bad passing by UCF's backline and goalkeeper. Kinda like the bad pass that Max Schneider made to Oliver Semmle versus ODU that led to their only shot on goal and only goal scored by our conference mates against the Herd.
Pitt versus Washington was close (1-0) until the very last 2 minutes when they scored an open net goal and the wonder goal you mentioned.
So I think the Pitt scores in the last 2 matches are deceiving. I like our chances against either Pitt or Indiana if we make the final.
25 percent I believe

I will not Comment any further unless you ask on Pullman Square.
You live in the state where the final four is being played, right? I wonder why they will only allow 25%. Are they doing construction on the stadium or something?
