I understand he was tutored/coached by former MU kicker Tyler Warner. It's good to see alumni steering prospects to the Herd.

Here is where he rates in the kicking schools eyes. Pretty impressive.
This is a very underrated pickup... Good teams value special teams, both in the college and NFL games.
Having a kid that can consistently hit from 45 and closer is huge, and having a legit chance to make it from 50 is also big in late-game or end of half situations.

Another thing not to be overlooked, he's from Ohio, which means he knows how to kick in cold weather which does make a difference.
