Difference is one had protests and movements to address...the other? Well...no, not really.
I’m curious. Do you really not see the difference between something currently, actively named after a failed rebellion’s leaders versus a politician who hasn’t been elected in nearly two decades? And who had very much changed his stance for the vast majority of those elections anyway? Can you really not see it?

First, it's always a good idea to attack the first person asking you a question. Then, it's just as brilliant to mock the racial identity of a candidate when that candidate is accepted as one of their own among the crowd you're speaking to.
A military leader trained at a US Military Academy? Do you know many of those leaders changed as well? Do you know they haven’t been alive in about 150 years? So, yeah, what’s the difference?

One group existed a long time ago with literally a statue/name of something that is what you'd call "active."
Not sure how they'd react with the gift of hindsight now, if they'd change their stances since they got hit with that crappy irreversible status of "alive" to "dead."
Another literally lived and made legislation, as well as just merely being allowed to hold a job...even if he denounced his time, he still did it.
People get cancelled for a comment, yet a dude actually lived as someone opposite their values...and nothing.

Do you really think changing names of schools, mascots, and removing statues is to teach a lesson to the long deceased person being honored?
I mean now Scientology because the KKK barely exists but we can put both on a rocket ship to the sun.
I can get off the plane anywhere in the world and find a KKK meeting within 15 minutes.
