La Tech tied with K-State 20-20 in the 4th. They actually had the lead but K-State tied it up.

Also Northern Illinois playing OSU tough. 13-10 OSU in the third.

I think I just jinxed Northern and La Tech. As soon as I made my post, Northern's QB throws a pick 6 so now its 20-10 OSU. K-State is inside the La Tech 10 getting ready to score.

La Tech lost in triple overtime with two no calls on pass interference. Northern Illinois lost 20-13. Good games.

Now, hopefully WKU can pull off the win against Indiana. That would be a nice win for CUSA. Doughty will end up with over 500 yards passing but WKU still doesnt have a defense.

If WKU wins this game, Doughty will be in the talks for (early) Heisman votes. Rightfully so too, but I can't stand that guy though.

No excuse for WKU to lose to Indiana. They have to be embarrassed.

They just dont have a very good defense. Doughty had 484 yards when WKU closed the score to 38-35 with 6 minutes left in the game. I thought for sure Doughty would break 500 but WKU couldnt stop Indiana and they never got the ball again. Indiana ran out the last 6 minutes and WKU's defense couldnt stop them and get the ball back. If our offense continues to improve with Litton, I think we beat WKU. Offensively they are of course very good especially in the passing game but they still have a weak defense.

Bill Snyder will out coach Skip Holtz in the final 2 minutes.

and you are right. Holtz made a very questionable decision in overtime. La Tech had K-State stopped on 3rd down which was going to force K-State to kick the field goal. Instead of forcing the field goal attempt Holtz takes the penalty, gives K-State another 3rd down try and K-State scores a TD instead of the field goal attempt. WTF

Kansas St. was given a TD in the first OT. The receiver clearly did not have possession in bounds. They would have been forced to try a FG, instead of being handed 6. Also, no PI calls on either 3rd or 4th downs on K-State in the 3rd OT? Turn the tables and at least one is called on Tech. Pretty obvious how it was going to play out.

Usually Im not one to blame refs but Tech got hosed this game.

I agree on the poor officiating but why did Tech throw in the end zone 3 straight plays in the 3rd overtime how bout trying to get a first down. I was scratching my head on that.

Actually, I was impressed with both Holtz and Driscoll at the end of regulation and OT. Tough loss for LA Tech.
