Nice. I dig chics that can play slide. Speaking of chic bands, I was at Mountain Stage a few weeks ago to see St Paul & the Broken Bones & got caught off guard by how good the female acts were. Normally when chics play MS it sounds like the soundtrack for menopause. But a couple of them really surprised me - especially The Wild Reeds. Their lead was 80 lbs of destruction.

These ladies have a new record coming out next week. They have a FB page that is full of vids of them doing covers of some old power rock and roll tunes, worth a look see if you like what you heard here. Nothing soft and gentle about their music at all. And speaking of St Paul and the Bones, I am a big fan of their music, have been for the past 2-3 years!!
