I always liked Lee's work ethic and thought he was underutilized at MU. A lot of times I felt he was the best player on the field. I remember a game, probably his senior year, when we were driving late in the 4th quarter to take the lead. Lee was playing huge like give me the ball and let’s win this thing. I think Anderson hit him 4 straight times for 8-10 gains and I'm thinking keep doing it until they prove they can stop it. Then we throw the ball downfield on the next play for an INT. Game over...☹ Anyone else remember that?
He came back to speak at a Boys and Girls Club fundraiser a few years ago. He could definitely be an asset to the program going forward.
