During his speech at CIA headquarters, Trump repeated the claim that he “Didnt want to go into Iraq". He told Howard Stern in 2002 that he supported the Iraq War.

The war started losing a lot of it's approval less than 1 1/2 years after it started, and then got worse in 2005 when it was revealed that there were no wmds and no alqueda connection, and that it was going to cost way more and take way longer (if it was doable at all).

Don't care if he did or he didn't. If he lied, he lied there. Anyone who thinks all politicians do not lie at times, needs to go stick their head back in the sand. However, he was not my first choice for rep nominee, but since my guy did not win, I was left with a bad choice or a worse choice. This is based on my vision of where I would like the USA to go. I know there are others who disagree with my position on this and I respect your opinion. The problem is most of the other side does not respect my position(you see that watching any news channel). To be transparent, there are those on my side that are the same way with your view. I see that as the biggest issue with our government. nobody is willing to compromise anymore in politics.

That is the one thing I think Trump can do if allowed. He is a businessman, he understands what real compromise means. And we have not had a president who understood that since Bill Clinton. See the things President Clinton and Newt Gingrich. Those two worked together each got some of what they wanted and the country was in pretty decent shape back then. It has gone down hill ever since.
