So, Marshall, the team that Sam sez lives & dies by the 3, only attempted 28% of their 64 shots from behind the line. Yet, somehow they scored 105 pts .......how can this be?
8-18 from 3 - I’ll take it.
Kinsey should snag Frosh PotW for this performance!!!
Go Herd!!!!!
It’s so quiet around here when we win.....

great win for the Herd tonight. 5-0 in conference play now!!!!

tonite was accomplished w/o much from Williams, who picked up a couple of fouls early and had limited PT after that. George did well when he was on the floor. Watson continues to be the glue holding us together! He plays tough and can defend in the paint. Love watching him slice to the bucket!! Burkes’ in another gear right now. I believe both he and Johnny Buckets are avg about 28 a piece the last 2 outings!
Quick turnaround for Monday night in BowlingGreen.....

This morning up 2 spots to #53 in the RPI. Any chu in the KenPom?
unfortunately, from the way I understand it, RPI means nothing now to selection committee. It's only NET. I know Danny says it will change his philosophy in scheduling. Like he told us, "i just figured out this RPI thing and they change the rules"

This is correct

Yep. With RPI we get credit for simply playing UVA and Maryland, even though we were not competitive. With Net they take into account margin of victory or defeat.

Sounds like the NET is basketballs version of the BCS grading system, just an observation. Wonder where hofstra ranks in that, they are steam rolling through the CAA

It sounds like Net is just another way to favor the big schools and further tip the advantage in their direction.
It’s actually the opposite. Like Chris said, the RPI rewarded you for just playing teams.

Meaning: the big schools had about a 10-15 game built in advantage over the smaller schools. NET focuses more on results. Not only did big schools get an advantage because of the teams in the top half of the RPI they played (not beat) in conference inflating their RPI, but they didn’t have teams in conference in the bottom half of the RPI deflating their ranking.
