It is amazing how the Navy Seals have Holly Wooded themselves.

They even have two guys arguing over who shot OBL. My son had a guy come and speak to his football team and this guy wrote a book and he was claiming to have done it.

Hollywood did that and they've bought into their own bullshit. Chris Kyle embellished a lot in his own book. So did Marcus Luttrell in his movie.

Their own personal ego and greed did it. Similar trait I see with a ton of these younger veterens. The serve in the Military, maybe see some combat, they come home get free everything and get money to tell their story. What's a little lying going to do if they are going to get paid regardless.

after reading that entirely it is easy to see what happened to both Luttrell and Gulab....... $$$$$$$

i'm sure Luttrell had a co-author sitting beside him the entire way "helping" him remember what happened. and i'm sure those "memories" were the kind that sell more books (200 bad guys instead of 20). it is also kind of a head-scratcher that the entirety of the Taliban know's where this guy and his family live yet the only attacks they are able to mount are repelled by Gulab and his wife sitting on the roof firing AK's in the air...
