He's been there since January. He couldn't make it at PSU, or at L'ville -- what makes anyone think he'll be 'all that' at WKU?

I think he just announced his intentions to actually play for them yesterday. The point is they're kind of deep with QB's. Ferguson did play for 2 P5 schools and adding the usf transfer they're in pretty good position to find a suitable replacement for Doughty. I find it comical most on here automatically assume WKU will suddenly sink to the CUSA basement because they lost Doughty. They'll be a thorn in our ass for a few years to come.

Marine I agree. WKU is not suddenly going to be in last place. Anything but EVEN IF the coach is able to go elsewhere. I agree WKU will be on par with us.

WKU has a former 2 year starter for USF waiting in the wings. I think White is his last name - could be wrong on that one. They will be tough offensively. Maybe 3rd time will be a charm next fall in the Joan.

Gardner is a decent QB whose career at U of L was derailed by injuries. He'd won the starting job there in 2014 after Teddy B. left.

The Ferguson kid I've never heard of and I'm a U of L fan (after MU) so I doubt he's anything to worry about.

We went after a few UAB kids. Ganus went to UGA. Howard went to Indiana, One kid decided to stay at UAB and freeze his eligibility clock and 2 went to WKU
