Per SirusXM and College Football Talk this years sleeper team that could win the ACC is Lousiville and this years most improved ACC team should be Pitt.

We have our work cut out for us. I'm so grateful the ACC is still playing quality G5 teams, Marshall being one.

A lot of people are hyping up Lamar Jackson...but I would hold off on anointing him the next Teddy Bridgewater with his freshman year stats...

He's a great athlete and would do very well in a spread offense geared around the running game. His passing is suspect but I'm sure Petrino will be working on that.

I am not sold on him either. Would I want him, sure but the guy played what, half a season? Throwing the word Heisman around with this kid is like jerking to the sears catalog, just flat premature to say the least.

I am not throwing out the H word, especially as a sophomore. But yeah, he is going to be a highlight reel QB starting this season.
I have been watching him close. He is in the right system with the right receivers.

No, they are not Purdue, but they aren't Alabama either. We also are not playing with a newbie QB either. Pitt, I dunno, they may beat us but it wont be a thumping. UL, if it was in Louisville, sure, but this is in Huntington, different bird. Not saying they wont beat us, but it will not be a blow out if they do.

Pitt had 2 on the list and Nick Mullens from S Miss was on it also. A total of 5 we will face.
