Man in jail 26 years elected to office

You ever been to southeast DC? An incarcerated guy with that type of resume is probably one of the better options to elect.

The majority of southeast is extremely rough. The Nationals Stadium is technically considered southeast, and expensive condos/apartments have been developed around it, but most people are referring to that as "near southeast" since it has an entirely different atmosphere (but still has violence).

Southeast is home to Barry Farms, the recently demolished 'hood along with Anacostia, another notoriously dangerous area. Barry Farms was the base for Rayful Edmond, perhaps the most successful person to come out of southeast: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayful_Edmond

If you ever want an entertaining read, Google stories about Rayful and his mother and how they had the entire neighborhood on the payroll protecting him.

So if you're an adult male who hasn't been killed, you are bilingual, and you have some leadership experience like the incarcerated guy does, then you're probably one of the better options to be elected in this area assuming that Ryan Zimmerman is ineligible based on his home address compared with his work address.
