Paul Manafort shared 2016 presidential campaign polling data with Konstantin Kilimnik, a former employee whom the FBI has said has ties to Russian intelligence, according to a court filing.

The special counsel alleged Manafort “lied about sharing polling data with Mr. Kilimnik related to the 2016 presidential campaign,” according to the unredacted filing, and discussed Ukrainian politics with Kilimnik during that time.

Mueller also said Manafort lied about contacting Trump administration officials after Trump took office. Manafort had told investigators he had no direct or indirect contact with White House officials since Trump’s inauguration, but Manafort had been in touch with officials as recently as the spring, according to the filing.

Manafort told a colleague in February — four months after he was indicted — that he was in contact with a senior administration official through that time, prosecutors said. And in a text message, he authorized another person to speak with a White House official on May 26, they alleged.

So what’s your point??

it's a newspaper report - I'm not making a point - draw your own conclusion

In one portion of the filing that Mr. Manafort’s lawyers tried to redact, they instead also revealed that Mr. Manafort “may have discussed a Ukraine peace plan” with the Russian associate, Konstantin V. Kilimnik, “on more than one occasion.” REMEMBER KILIMNICK IS A RUSSIAN INTELLIGENCE AGENT.

COLLUSION/CONSPIRACY - SO, AT THE VERY TIME RUSSIA IS INTERFERING WITH U.S. ELECTIONS IN
ORDER TO HELP TRUMP WIN, TRUMPS CAMPAIGN MANAGER IS GIVING RUSSIANS SECRET CAMPAIGN POLLING DATA WHICH RUSSIA USED TO SWING THE ELECTION TO TRUMP. AND, WHILE THAT WAS GOING
ON MANAFORT IS DISCUSSING A UKRAINE PEACE PLAN BENEFICIAL TO RUSSIA WITH A RUSSIAN SPY.

2+2=4 RUSSIAN HELPS TRUMP WIN IN RETURN TRUMP HELPS RUSSIA IN UKRAINE, THAT SPELLS COLLUSION AND THAT = CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

THEN, PUTIN HAS THE ABOVE GOODS ON TRUMP - WHICH EXPLAINS WHY TRUMP IS CONSTANTLY USING RUSSIAN TALKING POINTS, SIDING WITH RUSSIA AGAINST OUR ALLIES, DESTROYING OUR TRADE AGREEMENTS, BUSTING UP NATO AND ON AND ON AND ON.

WE HAVE A RUSSIAN AGENT SITTING IN THE OVAL OFFICE.

Trump's campaign manager had discussions with a Russian spy about the presidential campaign.

"No Collusion?"....now that's hilarious.

I will never understand those with strong conservative values intentionally looking the other way as it concerns mounting evidence this administration conspired with Russians to win a presidential election.

I guess a black guy taking a knee during the national anthem poses a more serious threat to our national security.

Ohhh look. We have someone on Mueller's team visiting the board.

“This is the closest thing we have seen to collusion,” Clint Watts, a senior fellow with the Foreign Policy Research Institute, said of the data-sharing. “The question now is, did the president know about it?” The accidental disclosure appeared to some experts to be perhaps most damning of all.

From March to August 2016, when Mr. Manafort worked for the Trump campaign, Russia was engaged in a full-fledged operation using social media, stolen emails and other tactics to boost Mr. Trump, attack Mrs. Clinton and play on divisive issues such as race and guns. Polling data could conceivably have helped Russia hone those messages and target audiences to help swing votes to Mr. Trump.

Most of the data was public, but some of it was developed by a private polling firm working for the campaign, according to the person.

Mr. Manafort asked Mr. Gates to tell Mr. Kilimnik to pass the data to Oleg V. Deripaska, a Russian oligarch who is close to the Kremlin

The surprise disclosures about Mr. Manafort were the latest in two years of steady revelations about contacts between associates of Mr. Trump’s and Russian officials or operatives.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan said that the lawyer, Natalia V. Veselnitskaya, had pretended to a federal judge that she was purely a private defense lawyer when in fact she was working with the Russian government

In August 2016, apparently just before Mr. Manafort was fired from the Trump campaign, he and Mr. Kilimnik met to discuss a plan for Ukraine that seemed to further Russia’s interests. They also met several times afterward, including once in Madrid in early 2017.

Prosecutors have accused Mr. Manafort of lying not only about his interactions with Mr. Kilimnik, but about other matters, including his contacts with senior administration officials in early 2017 and a payment related to a pro-Trump political action committee to cover his legal expenses. THATS WHAT NIXON DID WITH THE PLUMMERS

I
n a statement, Sen. Mark R. Warner (Va.), senior Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, called information in the filing “damning evidence of a senior Trump campaign official providing information to individuals tied to Russian intelligence in the midst of the Kremlin’s effort to undermine our election.”

So we now know that collusion existed between the campaign and the Russians. But I’m sure trump had no clue.

Russian interference had no more impact on the election results than illegal immigrants voting did. Neither had any actual impact.

And you fools think it's better to pass poll data to two spies rather than three. Btw nothing else was corrected- not good no wonder bone spurs is melting down

He beats all the Republican establishment.

You have only been saying this for over two years.

another day of a buckydtard opinion going down, just like his wife does around the trailer park for spending money.

The N.C.A.A. on Tuesday upheld penalties against Louisville’s men’s basketball program related to a sex scandal involving players, recruits and prostitutes, and ordered the university to forfeit dozens of victories, including its 2013 national championship.
