Anyone here a connection with Marshall Admissions or whoever handles campus tours? My son has been accepted at Marshall and at WVU. We were planning on driving up next weekend to tour both campuses. WVU immediately responded and and I’ve talked with people in the welcome group. We’ve heard nothing from Marshall visitor/welcome dept. trying to confirm a visit but poor communication. I’m a Marshall grad so would love for him to get a true tour not the dad walk around.

Long after I graduated from Marshall and shortly before my father’s death, I took him to a Marshall football game. He graduated from Marshall College in the late 1930s and while we walked across the campus, he pointed out landmarks and told me stories of his time there. It is a memory I will always cherish. Maybe the “dad walk” wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Sadly no luck with them. I sent a request in last week to see if he could be added to walking tour. The site you shared shows it being full. So was hoping I could speak to someone and get placed on back up list should someone back out. Not heard from anyone. Appreciate your help.
They have to tarp over unsold seats in the stadium and arena but can fill up a walking tour of campus, in the winter, with the freezing wind blowing in from the Ohio River. Marshall is indeed an unusual place.

Marshall came through big time. Gentleman named Nathan in college enrollment contacted us and has helped us completely. Looking forward to potentially many more visits to Huntington.
