Looking at this team is it possible that this might be the best wr core Marshall has had in a long time.
D.Allen, H. Foster, A.Jean Louis, D. McManus, J. Hunt and J.Green. is this the best core of talent that Marshall has had at WR in a long time.
Allen gets open and will have a big season if they can get the ball to him this year. I think the most skilled WR in Conference USA personally.
Jean Louis hopefully continues to emerge as a big play WR and has the talent to be a stud.
McManus and Hunt are big bodies and can play inside or out.
Gator Green can flat out fly.
Foster will make people forget about Shuler I think Hyleck can be one of the best yards per reception players in the county and will be big time. Especially as the new quarterback is getting their feet wet look for Foster to produce early and often this season.

And don't forget Ryan Yurachek.. I know he's a TE but I think he'll be a big threat in the passing game this year especially with a new quarterback being broke in.. A young QB's best friend is a good Tight End.

Well ... if the past is any indication that just means we will run the ball more. Sigh, we seem to go away from our strengths - running in passing situations or passing in running situations a lot to try to "fool the defense" and often end up with egg on our faces!

Schedule strength smack is officially turned off

Hahaha yeah.

Running in passing situations when there's nobody in the box and we gash a team for a 20+ yard runs = bad.
Passing in a running situations when the box is loaded and we get 1st down after 1st down or have an unbelievable red zone TD % = bad.

Herdnation Logic.

Schedule strength is another and legitimate conversation. Not ignoring that. But that does not change the fact that we rarely ended up with egg on our faces.

Yeah, we have only averaged over 40 points each of the last three seasons. If the coaches knew what they were doing we would average like 70 or something. No reason we shouldn't get at least 1,000 yards a game, right 72?

Obviously the playcalling is questionable at times, but overall it's been working just fine. Who always has the perfect call? No one.
