We have a chance although I've heard Wake is likely where he ends up.
What are you talking about? Colburn is a pretty well spoken kid.Originally posted by Always The Herd:

He visited GA Southern on Sat and Wake on Sunday. He had told us last week he wanted to make a decision by today but there is a Bleacher Report article that says he'll make his decision known on Wed.Originally posted by Marshall Jeff:

Well anything is possible. We just watched Simmons go full potato and pick Temple. Rumor is he is agreeing to JUCO if he has to to play there.Originally posted by Herdon2:
Let's see GA Southern or a top 25 ranked Marshall?? Hmmm
Like what? MU offers full cost of attendance, just like the P5 schools. In fact, because that cost is a federal calculation, Marshall actually offers more than a lot of P5 schools - such as WVU.Originally posted by flairforherd:
Unless he's a prop the P5 schools can offer recruits so much more now it's extremely difficult for any G5 to compete with even the lower P5 schools.
Thanks Mark, I was not aware of that.Originally posted by marshallmark:

You do realize that depth is also a major factor in his decision, and we have 4 pretty damn good Rbs that he would be competing with for PT. Pittman, Byrd, Davis, and Weems have every bit as much potential or more than Colburn. He probably made the right choice in picking Wake as he is an all-purpose back that will likely be used in equal measure to the powerback they landed.Originally posted by UBeenThunderStruck:
He would have potentially had monster numbers running/receiving in the Herd offense... after DJ graduates.
