Yagi how good is west Virginia this year. If ky had not lost to florida they would be 6-0 and ranked. What is your take on marshall and Litton this year? Rifle I believe next year tyler will tour with stapleton or simpson or maybe all three. I sure hope he answers me herdman. yagi flat out knows football almost as good as me.

Old men like us grew up watching and studying the game. We were running the spread offense in the back yards and sand lots before it ever became main stream. Plus, the games in the back yard and fields were tough. No time for sissies there. You grew up real fast. I bet the coal miner games and the games in the coal country were as tough as anywhere.
We had smear the queer games that were as tough as anything. No time for the weak there.
We were so poor we eat lent. Lol Catch fish and cook them right on the bank. Make bisquits too. Played a million football basketball and baseball games from 6 to 15 in the backyard and played football and baseball at the golf course. I never saw a bad hop until I was in high school. Moving in the 8th grade from sistersville to Ky was dramatic. i signed up for football first day in louisa. Dad lied and told the coach I was a sophmore. I kept aaking the head coach when do the freshman start. He ignored my existance. Then one day I ask and him again and he said "What the Hell do you care about freshman. I said I am a freshman. He said , well hell. Dad and me are the first ones to move here. Dad just wanted me to stay busy. We practiced 2 and a half hours twice a day. Dad never missed practice. When dad was watching i felt dangerous. I loved to lower the boom on a ball carrier. I also punted and returned punts. I could have played at small colleges in all three sports. I was offered the best job you could have at martiki. Knew 2 weeks before school let out. Didnt appreciate what was being offered. I made 25000 in 78 the year I graduated. Had 100 per cent insurance and a bonus check on the 15th of every month. 2 weeks vacation with 21 days paid. I hated it. Got turned on too pot and at least going home after work was fun. I worked 4 to 12 when I first started. We worked 6 8hr days. Only job I ever had that wasnt 10 to 12 hr shift. Had 10 personel days.
