Eh.... I mean it is a solid conservative pick with political experience that isnt as annoying as Ted Cruz (cant stand the nasally voice of his) Hopefully this will help to pull some of the establishment back in that are disenfranchised over Trumps Moderate views.
it's more like those have been trump's main two campaign points and they're 100% out of step on those issues.
Bush was against Gay Marriage and Cheney was for it. That was a pretty big issue and yet Cheney was still Bushes VP. It Happens.

but to get back to the point of the thread, if it turns out to be pence? why? what does he bring to the table that newt, christie, flynn or anyone else wouldn't? right now trump has a pretty solid polling lead in indiana, but i don't even think pence would help deliver the state if he didn't.
Pence does nothing for the ticket. I swear I think trump wants Hillary to win. On a side note in Raoul is thrilled to now have pence out of Indiana

it was about 3 weeks ago, we were told Trump would be beat by "double digits" come November. Have any of you doomsdayers been paying attention? Unless Hillary suddenly becomes likeable, and Trump doesn't pull a "Romney", she is on the verge of getting smoked.
Anyway, I don't really know who would have helped Trumps campaign more. There were probably worse choices than Pence (Cruz), but frankly not sure who would have been better.

I think he is a solid pick. I don't see how he hurts Trump. He will bring a stabilizing presence to the ticket. He has governing experience and that is a plus. The last thing Trump needed was another polarizing person.I can't wait to see who HC picks!

Here's what I really don't get: Trump needed to pick someone with a spine, because you're going to need to defend some fvcked up stuff Trump says. Pence has ZERO spine. When he went on TV over the whole gay discrimination law he didn't have the stones to support his own views, how is he going to support Trump's? Spence will be defending Trump not his own decisions. He just needs to play his part if he is picked.

i'm honestly not sure warren was ever a top 3 or 4 choice for the veep spot. it'll be kaine (but probably not again), sherrod brown, tom perez, cory booker, or julian castro. i'd bet on brown, but who the hell knows at this point.
