There is a baseball account on Instagram that has stories of growing up as kids in our era. The guy does a good job with it and even has some celebrities and athletes who follow him and comment about growing up in those days.

We didn’t do jorts in the seventies or 80s. It was the basketball shorts with the double piping in the 70s and Bike coaches shorts in the early 80s, the ones with the two metal snaps on the waste band.
