All good points. However, I recall something Pres Bush said. He said to Obama and others who were attacking him while trying to become the next president. He said the view looks different when you are sitting in the Oval Office. As much as we all like to score political points it is always best if they do what needs to be done rather than what scores them a few political points. Obama found that out and I guess Trump found out as well.

Bush's travel expense was greater than obama's and vacation days is not even in the same ball park. Same is happening when you compare obama and cheetos, cheetos is spending more on travel expenses and is taking more vacation time.

I would argue that Trump campaigned on an entirely different political theme than Obama. While Obama wanted to end wars because peace is cool, Trump argued "fvck those motherfvckers", indeed fvck everyone but the USA. Isolationsim. A 180 on American foreign policy since the end of WWII. And was damn popular with his voters. This is a huge change in campaign rhetoric verses policy. I'm curious to see how his base responds. Probably well, because they may have cheered isolationsim, but they also love killing Muslims.

And now we know why Bannon was let go. This was the generals verses Bannon. Bannon lost.

I'm sure he has listened to them. But it's important again for me to note the similarities in Trump's and Bernie's populism...getting out of Afghanistan, economic populism,and the combined votes they got....there's a SHITLOAD of voters that's still going to appeal to in 2020, because this stuff isn't going to happen under Trump, no matter how much he promised it.
