You say “oops” in hopes that people won’t read your link and just assume that the project isn’t happening. Well it is, and the only person on here who insinuated that it would be a brand new mill is you. The company is refurbishing an old mill and bringing 300 permanent jobs to a town with 3,400 people, rather than building a new mill in India. That’s fantastic news, and almost solely because of Trump.

I know you leftists hate good economic news, but at least be honest for once.

Reading comprehension is key.

The original post said that a brand new facility was being built that would bring jobs. A similar announcement, which was what was claimed, would be another new facility bringing jobs. So, his comment wasn't really wrong.

The only similarity is that both stories should bring jobs. There is no similarity in the new facilities which was the first part of the original post. Further, and just as important, is that the first story estimates up to 13,000 jobs. The second allegedly "similar" one is 300 jobs. That "similar" story is 2% of jobs of the original one; not too similar.

But, hey, I saw my local gas station had a "help wanted" sign in it. The two people they plan on hiring is similar to the brand new facility being built that could provide 13,000 new jobs, right? Doh!
