If you're a white guy, and feel using the phrase, monkeying something up, and you immediately think of a black man, then you're likely a racist yourself.

Let's be real: if you are smart enough to win the primary for governor of a major state, you should be smart enough to know you cannot talk about monkeys unless you are talking about real, actual monkeys...and even that is probably not a good idea.
