It rained for all of 30 seconds here last night. How is that going to help anything? Most of the trees still have their leaves and they are mostly green. The calendar says fall and I want fall.

Never build anything under or around a large pine tree. They might be classified as evergreens but they shed tons of dead needles.

Today is International Day of Failure. Bet some of you didn’t realize that you had your own day. That is all.

Evidently it's a 2 day event for you.

You do your own hard work yet claim others are failures? Peasant.
I'm a man that takes pride in working, especially work around my house. Change my own plumbing, do my own landscaping, build my own things, like this new firewood rack I'll be filling up with seasoned wood this coming Saturday. I'll even load it into my truck bed, unload it into a tractor cart, and drive it out back to stack it. I might even stop by Lowe's this afternoon and buy myself a new shower head.

I'm a man that is a loud mouth coward that won't take the bet I originated. Then I lie and say the person who took my bet is a welcher. I have no moral, ethics, or redeeming qualities.
Trump in 2024 will be a landslide

If you have trouble with that shower head, there's an extremely short list circulating around this forum of whom not to get help from.

Yes, if any of you on this forum need help with any type of head, I’m not your guy. There are plenty of others on here who would love to help you.

You're a liberal, you're definitely more apt to be giving head than getting it.

It has been incredibly hot and dry here. Finally, a cold front moved through last night, but before that has been weeks in the 90s and not a drop of rain. Our grass is brown and crunchy.

Do you install shower heads by yourself? Asking for a friend.

After nearly 3 years, I was able to get the power company to come and cut down/remove a grouping of trees that weaved in and out of power lines and did the same thing to me. Got all over my roof, gutters, and back patio. Since the trees have been removed, it’s like a giant weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I’ve wanted those things gone forever.

Is this the same property that both you and Middle Class Murox said was one of the top three most expensive of posters on this board?

Yep. Pretty trees, but they can make a mess. To think I planted this white pine when it was a seedling and now it is 60 feet tall and rains down bales of “hay” half the year.

I saw sparks coming from the transformer on a somewhat regular basis. And that crap was right above our bedroom. I stayed on them for three years before they finally came and cut them down.
Wow.

And I'm not being a smartass. I remember how often the power went out in WV for a bird fart of a storm.

Out here, I've had legit ass-kicker storms, power stays on. Granted, the power companies probably take keeping the lines cleared and trees trimmed a little more seriously, because storms out here are a different breed.
