If you're talking about Nikki Haley that's a terrible pick. She has no foreign policy experience at all sans holding press conferences with BMW execs
That's more notable experience than another recent past SOS, who only had experience negotiating payoffs with raped women and old socialist senators who were looking for a bigger retirement package.
I don't have a beef with Haley. She might be in over her head, but that's to be seen.
I do believe Trump only picked her to elevate the Lt Gov of South Carolina, who unlike Haley supported Trump. That's pretty shrewd.

Thats pretty good plan. I like how all the moves are politically driven. Democrats need to be punished.
Dr Ben has very good thoughts about working to fix the problems in urban areas. Could there be someone better for that possibly, but not within Trumps circle, and of the available spots that is the one that fits his strengths best. The only other one that would fit his strengths would be HHS, but people would be saying the same thing about that position.
Not sure what either 429 or duke meant by their comments but just because Dr Ben is black does not mean HUD is not a place where he can do some good. Or he was offered that position just because he is black. Anyone with that in their mind is kinda a bit racist IMO.

My statement was more towards his qualifications for hud secretary nothing about his race. If that's how it was perceived my apologies
Who cares? It is the United Nations. The organization is worthless.
He's a very intelligent man with ethics and (unlike Obama) wants do the right thing, even if he gets called a sell out.
Obama has to stay true to the game, which is why he's done nothing but run his racist mouth and stirring the racial pot the past 8 years.
This cabinet stuff is a waste. Pick whoever will do it cheapest. It's just a group of figureheads. Trump's calling the shots. This is all for show. A man like that doesn't really take advice from anybody.
