To me, it’s rebounding & Rondale. Of course it goes w/o saying hitting a better % from the field, but we continue to struggle on the boards. We need more possessions! Rondale giving us some senior leadership and toughness is a big +
I like what I am seeing from Beyers. And....can 33 find some kind of rythym? He could use some confidence right about now.

Alleged all-time greats (Elmore) shouldn't have as many games like this. Especially in their senior years.

For as good of a coach as Dan is this year's road performances have been absolutely terrible. Did he and this team buy into their press from last year?

Getting back to HUNTINGTON early Tuesday morning. Practicing on Tuesday with little sleep and traveling on Wednesday, playing on Thursday, traveling on Friday and playing again on Saturday. We need to regroup this coming week and get hot at the end of the season for the conference tourney.

Getting back to HUNTINGTON early Tuesday morning. Practicing on Tuesday with little sleep and traveling on Wednesday, playing on Thursday, traveling on Friday and playing again on Saturday. We need to regroup this coming week and get hot at the end of the season for the conference tourney.

Sorry a three game road swing doesn't excuse these three games. Sure we were probably tired today. However it doesn't excuse choking away WKU. We didn't show up at all in the 1st half of LaTech. Also I may be inclined to agree with you if they haven't played like this on the road pretty much all season.

Easily. Sure we may have lost by similar margins, but none of those losses were by teams coming off of an conference championship, a NCAA tournament win, and returning most of it's roster which includes two senior guards that average double digits a game.

Our defense has been awful all year. What's our defensive ranking in regards to points per game? Here it is, we are ranked 339th out of 351 teams. We clearly value defense . I mean, we let UVA break 100 for the first time in the Tony Bennett era

What do you say at this point? To pile on those who piled on, earlier this year and last, seems unsportsmanlike.

Fact is, this is a mediocre team, that lives by the 3 and dies by the 3, and which does not seem to give a darn about itself. It is capable of "getting on a hot streak in the conference tournament and who knows" (as are about 8 other CUSA teams, none of which are really any good) and it is capable of getting a result just like Saturday's at any time against any opponent.

I guess we will see what Thursday brings. UTSA pulled off a MD vs Duke-like comeback last night against ODU......pretty unlikely victory!
With MTSU down, the conference is jammed tight at the top. Will be interesting to see how the PODS are distributed in 3 weeks......tiebreakers?

My observation is this: This issue seems go go much deeper than “long road trip” or “we’re tired”. BOLLOCKS! You can see it in the team. Do we have the equivalent of the 2016 FB team? A primadonna whom the the rest of the team dislikes? I know what the players and coaches “say”, but actions speak louder.
