Well, they have beaten us 2 years in a row. In 2018, J Jackson as a freshman took over the game, and we made runs but could not get past them in San An Tone. Last year, Jackson & Wallace just dominated inside & outside, and even with J Elmore's miracle 4 pt play at the horn to send the game into OT, The Road Runners prevailed in Huntington.
So, what to expect on Thursday? Jackson went off for 45 @ ODU (W), but was held in check for the most part in Charlotte (L). They have had a very similar season in terms of wins & losses, and it looks likely we will both end up in Pod #2. If we can get more balanced scoring from our 3 pt shooters & Bennett can stay out of foul trouble, we should be able to stay with the best guard combo in the league. Would be nice to have Milo available. Another solid effort from Byers would be the icing on the cake. Go HERD!
